Italian bean dish with Parma ham

Ingredients

cannellini beans (tinned)
200 g
black beans

ELVEA Cubetti - Italian herb mix

parma ham

fresh thyme

fresh basil

olive oil
ciabatta

Preparation

Put a heavy-bottomed pan on a low heat. Add the olive oil and finely diced onion and garlic, and fry for 2-3 minutes. Then add the Parma ham strips and fry for 3 minutes. 
Add the tin of Cubetti (Italian herb mix) and the fresh thyme leaves. 
Put the hob on the lowest setting and let simmer for 15 minutes. 
Add the beans and let simmer for an additional 5 minutes. 
Garnish with fresh basil and serve with ciabatta bread.
