The red Datterini tomatoes, the yellow Datterini, and the Datterini tomato passata were granted a Superior Taste Award, each one crowned with two gold stars.
 
This international award is unique and is sometimes called the “Michelin of Food Guides”. More than 120 countries participate in the Superior Taste Award. The products are analysed in a sensory way, undergoing, among others, blind tests related to their specific peculiarities, the intensity of the taste pleasure being particularly appreciated. These tests are conducted by 120 chefs and professional tasters, they take place at the iTQi (International Taste & Quality Institute) of Brussels
